Abstract

The planning of a multipurpose building within a school environment plays a vital role in supporting educational, social, and cultural activities. SMPN 1, Sangatta Utara Subdistrict, as one of the public schools in East Kutai Regency, requires a representative multipurpose facility. This planning activity aims to produce a comprehensive set of technical documents as the foundation for construction implementation. The planning approach was carried out in stages, beginning with field studies and progressing to the development of technical drawings and tender documents. The final planning deliverables include the preliminary to final reports, soil investigation results (Sondir and PDA), structural calculations, complete working drawings, and procurement documents such as the Bill of Quantities (BoQ), technical specifications, and Engineer’s Estimate. The results of this planning process are expected to serve as a valid reference for the construction of a building that is safe, efficient, and compliant with technical standards.
