Time Performance and Project Progress Analysis of the KM 13 Samboja Government Building Project Based on the Realized Schedule
Abstract
This section consists of single paragraph and about 250 words maximum. For research articles, abstracts should give a pertinent overview of the work. We strongly encourage authors to use the following style of structured abstracts, but without headings: Construction management plays a crucial role in the success of infrastructure projects, especially in managing time and schedule. Government infrastructure projects require strict schedule monitoring to ensure on-time completion and efficient resource use. This study analyzes the time performance of the KM 13 Samboja Government Building Project (Fiscal Year 2024), which has a 23-week duration, using actual schedule data. A quantitative descriptive case-study approach was used to examine secondary data from the project’s realized time schedule documents. The analysis focuses on comparing the planned versus actual weekly and cumulative progress, including the calculation of weekly deviations. The results show that the project experienced significant time performance fluctuations. In the early period (weeks 2–12), there were notable negative deviations indicating delays in weekly progress. However, from weeks 13–21 the project saw a drastic acceleration, with weekly actual progress exceeding the planned schedule. By the final reporting period (week 24), the cumulative project progress reached 100%, matching the planned target. The conclusion is that although the project faced early challenges and delays, the project team successfully compensated by accelerating work, ultimately completing the project on time. This outcome highlights the importance of adaptive oversight and control in construction management to address schedule variances and ensure project success.
